College Presidents' Pay Soars With New Job Demands (Update1) (Bloomberg.com)
Nov. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Presidents of 70 private colleges received more than $500,000 in salary and benefits last year, compared with one a decade ago, while the number of public college presidents cracking the half-million-dollar mark almost doubled last year to more than 40, according to an annual survey.
